What kind of Coop Game is this?

This is an action, tactic 3rd person shooter. The style is future military and since it seems to be a mobile port it feels like a mid-tier game from the PS2/Gamecube era. It has 2 Player online and local coop.

Why you should coop this:

It is a small and simple game, but its simple mechanics make for some nice gameplay. You have to shoot tanks and soldiers that are more or less as tough as you are so you need an element of surprise, clever cover or your coop partner to not get shoot to bits. Friendly fire is quite integral part of the coop: sometimes it is better to split up and it is always better to not have the same angle towards the enemy. Often we strafed into each others line of fire. You start as a soldier and unlock different vehicles , like tanks, walkers and spider tanks while playing through only 9 levels. There are many vehicles and weapons but some seem more intuitive and better than others, so we stuck mainly to the straight forward shield and machine gun or camouflage ability. You have always a little arrow that guides to your next objective. You can earn 4 medals for every level: 1 Expert mode 2 pickups 3 soldier 4 completed . Was fun to get them all, especially since playing all levels with soldier makes the game way more tense and tactical: find routes with less conflict, be very careful to stick together use healing pickups deliberately. For such a small, cheap, mobile port we had surprisingly much fun. A little palate cleanser game between more involved games.

Shortcomings:

This game is clearly far from AAA and feels cheap from the get go. Shooting is a little floaty and imprecise which some people might hate but it can be accounted for and you can integrate it in your playstyle. There also were some smaller bugs, like spawning on a building. It is a simple shooter so don’t expect too much.

Cooperative or Multiplayer Game?

Many games that are listed as Coop are games were you rather play together with players playing simultaneously. The true cooperative element comes in with working together, coordination and good teamwork. Both types are viable and can be great fun. Our aim is to let you know how this game handles this.
