What kind of Coop Game is this?

It is a fun, overcooked-like, coordination focused game that puts you on a spaceship so you and your partners can – very chaotically – repair and maintain the ship, fire your guns and beat evil aliens!

Why you should coop this:

A mix out of Overcooked and Lovers in dangerous spacetime, but brings a slightly different vibe. It can get very chaotic but this is a little less process focused so far (we are not completely done yet) so there is more room for error than in the overcooked games. You have tools to repair damages or put out fires. Other tasks are manning the guns or reloading them. The games visuals quite clearly communicate what you should be doing. Everything is spiced up with some fun mechanics like the air docks opening or the rooms getting frozen which force you to certain safe places and are well telegraphed. This game seems a little like a cheap overcooked clone but it is different enough, brings a good portion of humor and is quite fun. The levels are a little random since damages occur on different places. It has a star rating on your performance but you can kind of ignore it and be fine with just surviving the level. Very nice: the voice-work is over the top and spoofs “Nintendo speech” in games. Up to 4 Player campaign-coop offline as far as we know.

Shortcomings:

It is a very coordination focused game and there are a lots of those in the recent past.

Cooperative or Multiplayer Game?

Many games that are listed as Coop are games were you rather play together with players playing simultaneously. The true cooperative element comes in with working together, coordination and good teamwork. Both types are viable and can be great fun. Our aim is to let you know how this game handles this. More on this distinction under “About this Site”.
